Neighbours Of The Historic Centre Create 10 Monumental Alebrijes For The Day Of The Dead Parade

An alebrije in the shape of a toucan inside the Kaluz Museum in the Historic Centre of Mexico City, during the presentation of some of the monumental alebrijes that will be part of the Day of the Dead Parade in the capital from 31 October. These crafts are typical of the state of Oaxaca and their creator was Pedro Linares López, a resident of Mexico City whose trade was cartoneria and the sale of skulls, Judas and piñatas in the Mercado de la Merced.
