Australian American Assoc. Dinner - The Australian American Association held its 29th Anniversary Dinner in the Grand Ballroom at Menzies Hotel tonight. Present were the Administrator of the Commonwealth, Sir Henry Abel Smith, Lady May Abel Smith and Princess Alice, of Athlone.On his arrival at the Hotel, Sir Henry was greeted by the Eastern Command Band playing the Regimental March of the Royal Horse Guards (The Blues) (his old regiment). After being greeted by Mr. Astley Tyrrell, President of the Australian American Assoc., Sir Henry met the Band master Warrant Officer I.A. Henderson.Here l to r W.O.I.A.
