LONDON, ENGLAND - JUNE 11: A deserted Coliseum Theatre on June 11, 2020 in London, England. The London Coliseum, the largest theatre in London's West End is currently closed along with the rest of London's theatre district, which has seen venues stand empty due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As the United Kingdom begins to ease lockdown measures intended to curb spread of the virus, London entertainment venues are assessing how to maintain social distancing in enclosed spaces to enable shows to resume. Before lockdown forced the closure of the London Coliseum, the production team were mid-build for the sets of Mythological opera Rusalka which was due to open on 28th March followed by a 12 week run of Hairspray the Musical which would have opened on 23rd April with Michael Ball.
