Scotland: The Birthplace Of Curling

Kays Curling manufacture and export curling stones to top rinks around the world. They have the exclusive rights to harvest "blue hone" microgranite from Ailsa Craig, an island in the Firth of Clyde, west of mainland Scotland. The main body of a curling stone is made using common green Ailsa Craig granite and the rest of the stone is made from blue hone granite.
