Young Russian Drug Addicts Receive Treatment

YEKATERINBURG, RUSSIA - AUGUST 31: (RUSSIA OUT) Young drug addicts lie handcuffed to their beds in a rehabilitation centre run by the 'City Without Drugs' fund on August 31, 2007 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. The fund was set up by businessmen, who were involved in organised crime, but who have now become Russian deputies. The addicts, who are often physically assaulted on arrival spend their first few weeks handcuffed to beds before being forced into chopping down trees or labouring. Nobody is allowed to leave during the year-long "treatment".
