Anadolu team’s vehicle completely rendered in hotel attack in Kharkiv

KHARKIV, UKRAINE - JANUARY 11, 2024: Russian attacks hit a hotel where the Anadolu team and other journalists were staying in Ukraine’s Kharkiv city on Wednesday (Thursday 10). The vehicle of the Anadolu Team Was completely rendered in the Hotel Attack. Oleg Sinegubov, head of the military administration of the Kharkiv region, said that a hotel with more than 30 civilians was hit in the attack at 10.30 p.m. local time (2030GMT) and that 11 people were injured in the incident. He noted that among the injured are Turkish journalists staying in the hotel. On Jan. 10, Journalists' Day, Anadolu reporter Davit Kachkachishvili and photojournalist Ozge Elif Kizil, who were on duty, managed to escape from the damaged hotel, which was engulfed in flames. Kachkachishvili had minor cuts on his hands. The Anadolu staff, in good health, was taken by ambulance to the hospital to be thoroughly checked.(Footage by AA /Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
